Megan Cannon

Megan is a passionate filmmaker and video editor from the Latrobe Valley in Gippsland. With over five years of editing experience, her journey as an editor began through capturing her family's travels on camera. Armed with a bachelor's degree in film and television, a master's in creative industries, and a deep understanding of content and social media marketing, she crafted a successful TikTok web series (Camera Shy) during her master's program, amassing an impressive 65,000 views. 

Beyond her personal achievements, Megan previously ran the Latrobe Youth Film Festival Online, providing invaluable opportunities for aspiring filmmakers to showcase their work to the community. Megan's storytelling prowess, combined with her eye for detail, makes her an exceptional storyteller capable of leaving a lasting impact on any project she touches. She is keen to continue to further develop her skills in producing, writing, social media managing as well as video editing.
